The Rail & Road Mechatronics Bundle combines three distinct builds—the Little Train, Railroad Gate Lever, and Motorcycle—to give students hands-on experience with different types of motor-driven motion and mechanical control systems.
This bundle includes one C2G Mini Microcontroller, which is reused across all three builds. Students install and transfer the controller between models, reinforcing the idea that a single programmable component can power multiple mechanical systems when paired with thoughtful design.
The Little Train build introduces driven wheels connected through mechanical linkages, allowing students to observe how motion can be transferred across multiple axles. The Railroad Gate Lever focuses on controlled up-and-down actuation, demonstrating how motors can be used for precise mechanical movement rather than continuous rotation. The Motorcycle build highlights a simple drivetrain powered through a single rear axle, offering insight into synchronized wheel motion.
