Description

The Blender Mechatronics Kit explores coordinated motion through a unique mechanical structure driven by a motor and the C2G Mini Microcontroller. The build features two vertical supports connected by a top assembly that houses the drive system. From this top structure, two axles extend downward, each rotating its own blade assembly.

As students assemble the kit, they learn how rotational motion can be transferred and distributed through axles and gears to power multiple components at once. Programming the microcontroller allows students to control when and how the blades rotate, reinforcing the connection between code and synchronized mechanical movement.

This kit is especially useful for demonstrating how a single motor can drive multiple outputs, making it an excellent introduction to gear trains, load distribution, and mechanical symmetry. Students can experiment with speed, direction, and timing to observe how changes in code affect both rotating assemblies simultaneously.

The Blender Mechatronics Kit encourages problem-solving and experimentation while remaining approachable across grade levels. Younger students focus on motion and structure, while older students can analyze efficiency, balance, and control within a multi-output mechanical system.
