VA: Pr4.1.6a Analyze similarities and differences associated with preserving and presenting two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and digital artwork.
Students will explore the differences in shapes to create both two dimensional and three dimensional works of art on our digital platform.
VA: Cr2.3.Ka Create art that represents natural and constructed environments.
Students will observe nature scenes and incorporate what they see to create their own landscape project.
VA: Re9.1.Ka Explain reasons for selecting a preferred artwork.
Students will have pair sharing and also whole class discussions to share their choice of art.
VA: Cr1.2.1a Use observation and investigation in preparation for making a work of art.
Students will participate in walks where they will do investigations and collect material to recreate digital projects.
VA: Re7.1.1a Select and describe works of art that illustrate daily life experiences of one’s self and others.
Students will create artwork that is a reflection of their daily life and or the world around them.
VA: Cr3.1.2a Discuss and reflect with peers about choices made in creating artwork.
Students will have time to discuss their artwork with a partner and also receive constructive feedback.
VA: Re9.1.2a Use learned art vocabulary to express preferences about artwork.
Students will learn new vocabulary weekly that is used for art and develop more art vocabulary as the course continues.
VA: Cn10.1.2a Create works of art about events in home, school, or community life.
Students will develop an artistic piece that incorporates pieces of their life and surroundings.
K-2.CS.1 Select and operate computing devices that perform a variety of tasks accurately and quickly based on user needs and preferences.
Students will use electronic devices to create works of art. Students will navigate their device to access the program along with being able to perform tasks to complete their artwork.
