Students, grades K-8th, will be able to apply principles and techniques related to Civil Engineering through this hands-on and interactive program. Through the design of several building structures and an understanding of the significance of the materials utilized, this program seeks to empower students to think critically and grasp the wider picture of civil engineering. Along with learning about the geological systems at work, students will also adopt a civil engineer’s perspective and apply the knowledge and techniques used by civil engineers.
